Resource Description
This application form is for the Charmaghz Online English Program. The project helps Afghan girls over the age of 12 improve their English speaking and writing skills through a 6-month online course.
About the Resource Provider
Charmaghz was started in 2018 by Freshta Karim, an activist for Afghan children's rights. It began as a mobile library inside an old bus in Kabul and welcomed over 1.1 million visits from children. Because of new challenges and school bans for girls, the organization changed its strategy. Now, working through its U.S. nonprofit, The Freshta Foundation, Charmaghz creates online classes, mentorship, and new opportunities for Afghan girls.
