Resource Description

This opportunity is an online education program offered by Charmaghz for a first cohort of 45 students. All selected students will be enrolled in the 10th grade, and the program will run for about 10 to 12 months. Students will study core subjects, including English, math, and science, to help them learn and grow. Classes are taught mostly in Dari, while English classes will use English as needed. Students need to spend about 15 to 18 hours per week on online classes, homework, and independent study. While the program does not currently have official accreditation, students who complete the requirements will receive a certificate from Charmaghz.

About the Resource Provider

This program is provided by Charmaghz, a registered non-profit organization originally founded in Kabul in 2018 to create safe learning spaces for youth in Afghanistan. After successfully serving over a million children through a network of mobile library buses, Charmaghz transitioned its operations entirely online in 2025 to bypass barriers to formal education. Today, the organization focuses on empowering Afghan girls by providing structured virtual learning pathways, including secondary school classes, English courses, digital literacy training, and personal mentorship, to help them build critical thinking skills and achieve future independence.
