The Forum for Young Canadians National Summit brings together 300 youth from across Canada for an immersive week in Ottawa to explore leadership, government, and civic participation. Participants meet Members of Parliament, Senators, and policymakers while engaging in hands-on simulations, workshops, and discussions about real issues shaping Canada’s future.
Held over three sessions in February and March 2026, the Forum offers an unforgettable opportunity to learn how decisions are made at the national level, connect with like-minded peers, and gain practical leadership experience.
About the Resource Provider
The Forum for Young Canadians is a flagship youth leadership program of the Rideau Hall Foundation (RHF) — a national charitable organization that fosters civic engagement, community connection, and leadership among Canadians. RHF works to strengthen Canada’s democracy by supporting young voices and celebrating civic participation.

Share details about your community involvement and interests.
Successful applicants will be notified in early December 2025.
Attend one of the week-long sessions in February or March 2026 in Ottawa.
A $995 participation fee helps offset costs (meals, travel, accommodation). Bursaries are available to ensure no eligible youth is excluded for financial reasons.
