About the Resource Provider
Established in 2019, the McCall MacBain Scholarships are Canada’s first comprehensive leadership-driven scholarships for master’s and professional studies. The program is funded by the McCall MacBain Foundation and is dedicated to developing interdisciplinary leaders with a purpose to create positive change. McGill University, located in Montréal, Canada, is ranked #1 in Canada and #27th worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2026).
Benefits
Full tuition and fees coverage for the duration of the master’s or professional program at McGill University
Living stipend of $2,300 CAD per month during academic terms
One-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal
Access to beginner-to-advanced French language courses at McGill
Up to $5,000 CAD for meaningful summer initiatives (if not studying full-time during summer)
Leadership development including summer retreats, bi-weekly seminars, workshops, field trips, and mentorship opportunities
Engage in place-based learning trips across Canada in the second year

Who Can Benefit From?
This scholarship is ideal for:
• Students worldwide applying for Summer/Fall 2026 admission to a full-time master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University (minimum 45 credits)
• Applicants who demonstrate leadership potential, academic excellence, and a drive to create positive impact
• Eligible degrees include Master’s programs in Arts, Science, Engineering, Business, Law, Education, Social Work, Urban Planning, Music, and more, plus second-entry professional undergraduate degrees in Medicine (MDCM), Dentistry (DMD), and Law (BCL/JD).
• Both Canadian and international students can apply.
